Christmas Bling!

Im starting to get into the Christmas spirit! I say Christmas, because that is what I mean. I do not say Happy Holidays. I say Merry Christmas until its over and then I say Happy New Year. Im not PC, I know. But why lie? I celebrate Christmas and New Years, not Kwanza or Haunakah. So, with that said, here is the start of my new Christmas collection.

The necklace is rosary-style featuring red and AB Swarovski crystals on sterling silver chain. The earrings are hand-formed spirals with wire-wrapped red crystal drops. These would be stunning worn to any Christmas party!

Bead Market

I went to my first Bead Market today. It was fairly small, which make it nice. But it was packed! The tables were so close together that two people could not fit down the aisle at the same time. That was the only downfall because I sure found some beautiful beads!

I couldnt help myself when I saw these delicate lucite flower and leaf beads. I cmae right home and got to work! This beautiful necklace features a meangerie of delicate pastel flowers and swarovski crystal beads.

Summers at the Beach

Did you ever spend the summer at the beach? When I saw these beads, that's exactly what they remind me of. The white beads are for the sand, the peach beads are for the sun, the green beads are for nature, and the blue beads are for the ocean waters. They are so delicate and pretty!

Bleeding Hearts Bracelet

Conversation pieces can be so much fun to wear! Especially when its my new Bleeding Heart Bracelet. It's sure to attract a few glances with its puffy, pale pink hearts dangling around your wrist.

A Gift Set

I just made this pretty blue set for a gift. I love using all sorts of different shapes and sizes of beads in all different shades of the a color, like I have below. This blue set is symetrical, which is something I dont usually do. It turned out so well! *I hope she likes them.*

If you're interested in buying a similar set, please email me.

Featured on Lily and Tulip

Im always so honored when someone else likes one of my pieces enough to want to feature me in their blog. I got the sweetest message today from Lily of Lily & Tulip. She featured a set of my Masu boxes in her blog along with a few other etsy artists who make paper items.

Trios of Masu Boxes

These fabulous print Masu Boxes are perfect for tucking things away or for using as gift wrap. They look great stacked or alone. Each box has as solid colored bottom in a coordinating color and a print lid. Each box is just a tad bigger than 4" x 4" x 2".

Pink Shell Coin Bracelet & Earrings

These two pieces are my newest creations. They are made from 15mm round pink shell coins and clear crystal bicones. I love the delicacy of the shells. They are several shades of pink and even have a copperish hue. The backside is a light pink color with browns and blacks. They are naturally pretty!

Two of My Favorites

I havent really had a lot of time to be creative lately so Im posting a couple of my favorites. I hope you'll like them too.

Also, scroll down to the dark blue section at the bottom of this blog for this week's Featured Artist! You'll be so glad you did!

This green glass rosary is simple and elegant. Its not too delicate, yet not too big. And has just enough heft to feel good in your hands as you pray along the beads.

If you'd like to know more about them, please click here.

These Tanzanite chandelier earrings are perfect for any occasion, casual or formal. The purple and black colors compliment each other perfectly! These earrings are one of my favorites because of how free and dangly they are.

New Toddlers Dress Up Jewelry Set

This weekend, my girls were walking around in my shoes with Daddy's hat and belt. Their dress up fun inspired me to make a fun new jewlery set for them. Pretty Pink Pearls! Necklace measures 16". Bracelet measures 5.5". Both have a silver magnetic clasp making it super easy for little ones to learn to put on and take off.

I also made a tiny version for a baby. Check my shop for more info.

Jet Rosary w/Wooden Crucifix

This is my newest creation - a Jet Black Glass Rosary with Wooden Crucifix and Holy Spirit Center. I think it really turned out beautiful! Its my largest rosary yet, measuring in at 30" long when layed flat. And it has some heft to it. The beads feel really good in your hand, which is something else I look for when Im considering beads for a rosary.

This rosary and others are available in my etsy shop, Baubles & Bliss.

Punk Dresses by Rockerchic Originals

I just had to share these beautiful punk dresses that I bought for my girls from fellow etsy member Rockerchic Originals. I asked her to make them in the specific colors because I am having the girls' pictures taken soon and wanted something cheery and fun... just like them! Kristie, owner of Rockerchic Originals, called them Cotton Candy which is totally fitting!

They are so fun! With their shoulder ties for a custom fit, a lined bodice and a double layer skirt, these punk dresses are really made well. My girls love them! I cant wait to get the professional pictures taken! Im thinking about taking some actual cotton candy with us for the photo shoot!

Made something for the kiddos

I went to the craft store today and found a few cute things for the kiddos too! I decided to make them some ponytail holders for their hair. They turned out pretty cute. The only thing I dont like about them is that they are made with the thin elastic instead of the thicker kind. But oh well.

Next time I'll see if I can find the thicker stuff. For now, here is a glimpse at a set I made:
